8th Annual Soup Off

The Soup Off is a popular culinary competition between many of Fairbanks’ favorite restaurants. Come try delicious, freshly-made soups while bidding on excellent silent auction items & entering a raffle for FOUR fabulous prizes. Help support the anti-hunger programs of the Bread Line Inc. at this this souper event!

Over the evening, local celebrity judges will taste every soup and award the grand prize of the “Golden Ladle” to their favorite contender. A prize for “Best Use of Local Ingredients” will also be presented to a winning soup. Ticket holders may vote for their favorites for the “People’s Choice” award!

Local contestants include Betty’s Favorite Bite, Venue, Lane’s Quickie Tacos, the Westmark, Mrs. Claws Chocolate Bar, Jackie of All Trades, the Carlson Center, LUNCH Cafe & Eatery, Go Wild Juicery, Lavelle’s Bistro, Lemongrass Thai Cuisine, Pita Place, Stir It Up, Chena Hot Springs, Alaska, A Taste of Alaska Lodge, the Cafe at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, Hilltop Truck Stop, the The Lodge at Black Rapids, Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Company, Food Factory, the Edge Restaurant, Marlo’s Bakery & Hari Om Indian Cuisine!

January 20th is the 8th annual Soup Off – 6PM at the Westmark. Tickets are $50 each or $40 for military. Raffle tickets are available at our 507 Gaffney office or from any of our wonderful board members!

All proceeds help feed the hungry of Fairbanks.
