Explore Fairbanks went above & beyond with their 2025 Golden Heart Giving: “Tourism Cares for Fairbanks” campaign.

After seeing a Facebook post from FNSB School District Nutrition Services thanking Roaming Root Cellar for their efforts to help pay off local student meal debt, they had the idea to focus their 2025 Golden Heart Giving on “Feeding Fairbanks”. Last October, their Board of Directors committed to donating to four area programs who are tackling food insecurity in our community.

In addition to supporting FNSBSD Nutrition Services, Meals on Wheels & the Fairbanks Community Food Bank, Explore Fairbanks donated $3,700 to the Bread Line!
