Here in the Golden Heart City of Fairbanks, Alaska – the AmeriCorps Vista members create a lasting and positive impact to our community. Are you interested in helping alleviate issues related to poverty? Then look no further! The AmeriCorps Vista of Fairbanks are searching for summer associates.
As a summer associate with the AmericCorps Vista of Fairbanks, you will have the amazing opportunity to work with local non-profits – with experience ranging from community outreach work to youth mentorship. Specifically, the Bread Line is in need of an AmeriCorp Vista to help out in the Stone Soup Community Garden!
This 10 week-service program begins on May 27th and runs until August 4th. The AmeriCorps will provide a monthly living stipend of $1,358 and an end of service education award or cash stipend.
