The Stone Soup Community Garden is planted!  Thank you to all the volunteers that made this year’s planting day a success.  It’s inspiring to see so many members of the Fairbanks community show up to work and sweat to help feed fellow community members in need of a meal.

Every year, the Stone Soup Community Garden harvests over 2,000 lbs of fresh produce.  This produce is used in the meals at Stone Soup and also goes towards the contracted meals the Bread Line cooks for the Housing First program.  The Stone Soup Community Garden is in its fifth season!

If you are interested in helping out at the Stone Soup Community Garden (the program is always in need of volunteers to help water and weed) please e-mail Sean Enfield or Americorps Vista, Daisy Morotti at garden@breadlineak.org
