It’s hot in Fairbanks & Fairbanks is bad at being hot. With few places to get away from the sun, Fairbanks unhoused residents also struggle to access clean drinking water. YOU can help by donating water bottles to the Bread Line’s weekday soup kitchen, the Stone Soup Cafe!

The soup kitchen also (always) needs snacks. Today we gave out 120 sack lunches & that is not an unusual number any more. Since the COVID pandemic hit, need for our anti-hunger services have grown 42%… that’s a LOT of sandwiches! We need lunch meat, sliced cheese, chips, sweet treats (home baked is GREAT!), dried fruit, fresh fruit… anything & everything is welcome in helping #FeedFairbanks.

Bread Line staff is available for donations 10AM-2PM or by appointment. Reach out to us at infor@breadlineaklorg or call the office at 907.452.1974 for more information.

Thank you to everyone who steps up & helps out every day art the Bread Line.
You are making a difference.
