This week there are TWO chances to catch the Bread Line’s very own at TWO separate Chef at the Markets! If you are interested in using fresh, local produce – don’t miss out on the opportunity to experience on-site cooking demonstrations from Chef Liann Peryea on Tuesday at 4pm at the South Side Market and Wednesday at 11am at the Tanana Valley Farmers Market.
This week Chef Liann will be accompanied by Stone’s Throw graduate Shannon Charlie! The featured vegetable of this week is Kale. Chef Liann and Shannon will demonstrate – step by step – a recipe for Lemon Kale with Chicken. This heart-healthy meal is a recipe to know!
What a great summer to learn new recipes involving fresh and local produce. Chef Liann has made some delicious dishes already this season! Here are examples of a few meals the Chefs have brought to the Market so far:
We hope to see you at the Market!
