When you sign up for the 2020 PFD – Pick.Click.Give to the Bread Line!
It’s that time of year again when everyone in Alaska applies for the upcoming Permanent Fund Dividend. When you apply for the PFD, you can choose to have a partial amount (or entire amount!) of your PFD go towards benefitting a charitable or educational organization of your choice! You can Pick.Click.Give in increments of $25 OR donate your full PFD. This is such a great program that makes a difference for so many communities in Alaska. In 2019, the Bread Line served an all-time record number of 31,156 meals. For some community members in Fairbanks – the Stone Soup Cafe provides their only meal for the day. Hunger is a need undiminished by daily fulfillment and the Bread Line’s anti-hunger programs address this harsh reality.
