Labor Day’s volunteers included 3 board members (left) & 6 union carpenters from the Local 1243. Local 1243 carpenters volunteer at the soup kitchen often, mostly on union holidays. Wednesday, August 7th was the busiest day in the Bread Line’s 40 year history. Serving 160 hot meals & 195 sack lunches for a total of 355 meals! The number of guests using the Stone Soup Cafe as a daily source of food continues to increase each month & Bread Line is currently in need
