Become A Volunteer

Local volunteers like you make everything that the Bread Line accomplishes possible. Whether you help once or join our dedicated crew of weekday volunteers, the Bread Line needs you!

Of all our anti-hunger projects, Stone Soup Cafe uses the most volunteers. As a low-barrier, high-volume program Stone Soup’s capacity relies largely on commUNITY support.

7-10AM, Monday-Friday at the soup kitchen, Alaskans dish up delicious breakfasts, pack sack lunches & pour coffee for their neighbors in need while also keeping the Cafe clean & inviting.

Being able to schedule regular volunteers each weekday allows us to plan for the day ahead! Right now, Tuesdays & Thursdays need regular volunteers… but every day is open for your help.
