Simard Automotive has made it their mission to help Stone Soup Cafe. Simard Automotive is now accepting donations for the Bread Line at all four of their locations & have launched a new program where their Rewards Program members can donate all or some of their point balance to the Stone Soup Cafe. This winter, Mike Simard & local musher Jesse Holms served at the Stone Soup Cafe. These two are no strangers to rolling up their sleeves & putting in the work & they were a huge help. Volunteering also gave them the opportunity to see how morning meal service works here – our needs, successes & our challenges.

This is what community looks like. The support that Fairbanks shows makes sure that the Bread Line meets our mission of “feeding people & affirming lives.” In 2023, our soup kitchen gave out a record-breaking 59,581 meals from the Stone Soup Cafe. Already, 2024 is surpassing the previous year’s records. The intentional effort Simard Automotive is making to build a better tomorrow for our town makes a difference. Thank you, Simard Automotive!
