So far this year, the Bread Line has served over 37,000 meals to those experiencing food insecurity in Fairbanks, Alaska. We are serving more food than ever before. Along with a hot meal, the Bread Line is serving full sack lunches for guests to eat later on in the day.
This work is possible thanks to community members like *you*! The support from fellow Fairbanksans is incredible. Thank you all who have donated money, food, snacks and more. It creates a positive and direct impact for someone struggling with hunger.
If you are interested in donating to the Bread Line – the Stone Soup Cafe is in need of snack items! Tangerines, chips, fruit snacks, cookies, crackers – we are serving an average of 120 sack lunches a day and these snack items will help keep these lunches full.
The best time to drop off donated items is Monday – Friday between 10am and 4pm. We are located at 507 Gaffney Road.
