We’ve got a friend in Kendall Auto Group! Between their two local dealerships, the fine folks at Kendall Subaru & Kendall Toyota of Fairbanks made a BIG donation to the Bread Line’s anti-hunger programs! Kendall loves to get involved in the things that matter to them & their community. As a family-owned business, they know first-hand the importance of buying, living & being local – these values show in their consistent support of Fairbanks nonprofits!

Margaret Mead said to “Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Every donation – from one dollar to one million dollars – makes a difference when they come from our community. These generous gifts from the Kendall Auto Group are making it possible for the Bread Line to continue meeting a growing need.

Between 2019 & 2020, our soup kitchen saw a 42% increase in food provided to our hungry neighbors. Last year, we served 48,882 meals out of our soup kitchen, the Stone Soup Cafe. Much of this spike happened because of the pandemic, but food insecurity was already on the rise in Fairbanks. Together, in Fairbanks – this “small group of committed people” – can make sure that everyone in our community has enough to eat. Thank you, Kendall Subaru & Kendall Toyota, for helping the Bread Line continue to feed people & affirm lives – we couldn’t do what we do without people like you!

During Kendall Subaru‘s “Share the Love” promotion, they donated $300 for every Subaru sold in December to Bread Line!
