Join us for Chef at the Market at the Southside Community Farmer’s Market for cooking demos, samples and recipes! This partnership event between our Stone’s Throw program and Calypso Farms will be held from 4pm – 7pm on Tuesday July 24th, August 7th, August 21st and August 28th.
Grass Station 49 did a wonderful thing for the Bread Line – they set out donation boxes at their stores, then *matched* the community donations.
In celebration of Access Alaska’s 35th anniversary, a community resource fair will be held at the Stone Soup Community Garden from 11am – 3pm on July 13th.

Here at the Bread Line, we serve over 100 hot meals every week day – frequently more. Just this week, we hit an all-time record, serving 189 meals in one morning. As the summer months roll in, the number of people who need our services rises. However, with the closing of Sam’s Club, food donations are down for all anti-hunger charity organizations in Fairbanks. We are doing more with less & our pantry stores are getting low.
